CalTwist is a filter system designed to deliver quality drinking water and incorporates an easy to change cartridge system. Water from the mains supply is connected to the inlet port of the unit and directed down through the filter cartridge. This removes unwanted contaminants. Filtered water then flows up through the centre of the cartridge and through the outlet where it is delivered through the separate drinking water touch tap.
CalTwist comes with a resin filter, the Twist R. This will remove sediment, bad taste, chlorine, odour, organic materials, heavy metals, limescale and scum. Twist R will also reduce limescale build up in domestic appliances that use treated water, such as kettles, and will also improve the taste of your hot drinks keeping them free from scum. The major benefit of this cartridge is the twist lock system that holds the filter in place. This makes changing the filter quick and easy.
Please note, the filter cartridge will need to be replaced at least twice annually depending on your water quality.
