CalScale is an electronic scale inhibitor, which is a simple to install and non-intrusive. CalScale generates a modulated pulse current that forms an electrical field through which the hard water passes. Due to the variations in water flow, temperature and amount of calcium dissolved, the electronics produce a complex oscillating field that will cover all the necessary descaling conditions.

CalScale not only prevents further hard limescale build up, but will also reduce, and finally clear all existing limescale in your system and on plumbed-in appliances.

CalScale comes with 3 power settings to allow it to descale systems with up to 75mm pipe sizes. Calmag recommend that the unit be set to the highest setting for the first few months to aid the removal of existing limescale from the system.

The unit is supplied as an IP65 rated plastic unit with a clear hinged door. Quality components have been selected to ensure that CalScale performs in harsh conditions when placed close to damp, cold water pipes.

After Installation you should notice the following effects…

1. Any hard limescale that has formed around pipe work and heating elements will begin to break down upon contact with treated water.
