CalPhos releases small doses of food grade polyphosphate into the water via a venturi system. This system creates a suction of polyphosphates and water solution from the bowl. The polyphosphate coats the pipework and prevents calcium and magnesium particles from crystallising and forming a layer of hard limescale on pipes, boilers, showerheads, taps, washing machines and dishwashers etc.

CalPhos needs to be refilled with polyphosphate blocks to ensure that your system is continually protected. These are available in packets of six.
