CalFresh

CalFresh is a filter system that is designed to supply quality drinking water and comes with its own separate drinking water touch tap. Water from the mains supply is connected to the inlet port of the unit and directed down through the filter cartridge. This reduces unwanted contaminants. Filtered water then flows up through the centre of the cartridge and through the outlet where it is delivered through the separate drinking water touch tap.

CalFresh comes with two choices of cartridge. The first is an activated carbon and resin filter, the Fresh CR. This will reduce bad taste, chlorine, odour, organic materials, limescale, scum and heavy metals. The Fresh CR is often recommended to protect kettles from hard limescale build up.  The second is an activated carbon block filter, the Fresh C. This will reduce contaminants such as sediment, dirt, discolouration, bacteria and cysts. However it will not remove limescale and scum.

CalFresh comes with a lifetime guarantee against manufacturing defects. This does not cover the filter cartridge which needs to be replaced at least twice annually depending on your water quality. For more details please click here.
